Mordecai and Rigby are 2 best friends who take the mundane problems and tasks of their boring job to fantastic places. Two 23-year-old friends, a blue jay named Mordecai and a raccoon named Rigby, take jobs as gardeners at a park and spend their days trying to earn money and entertain themselves by whatever means. This greatly upsets his boss Benson (he's a rather irritable gumball machine) along with his co-workers, Skips (a yeti), Pops (a gentleman-shaped lollipop whose father Mr. Maellard owns the park), Muscle Man (a fat green man), Ghostly (a ghost with one hand on his head), and Thomas (a goat). The show revolves around the problems caused by Mordecai and Rigby, which always end with bizarre and surreal results.
